Interested in joining the LVCS volunteer family? Remember that volunteers who work a minimum six-hour shift get special perks like: free admission to the Games, a free volunteer t-shirt, and a free box lunch on the day (or days) worked.

Don't worry about knowing exactly what you want to do, we will put you in the best possible position for your skills and availability.

 WHAT SORT OF JOBS ARE THERE FOR VOLUNTEERS?

We have a diverse set of events that need volunteer help, including but not limited to:

Gate & Ticketing

Our talented gate crew makes sure our patrons get in and start having fun!

Park Operations

Ops is Seal Team Six of the Highland Games. They move everything, fix everything, and always have duct tape on hand. They also assist all the volunteers with Friday setup and Monday tear-down.

Beer Tent

The Beer Tent volunteers pour beer during the Las Vegas Celtic Festival and Highland Games, and volunteer to pour for partner events. Note, certification required.

VIP Garden

Our VIP garden needs volunteers for check-in, food set-up and break-down as well as pouring at the VIP bar. Certification required if serving alcohol.

WHISK(E)Y Tasting

Assist in the whisk(e)y tasting tent to set-up each tasting, multiple a day, encourage festival attendees to join in on our tastings and check-in registrants.

Children’s Glen

The Children’s Glen volunteers organize and manage all events in the children’s area of the highland games, including outdoor games, activities and crafts.

Merchandise & Information

Merchandise & Information volunteers run the merch booth at the Las Vegas Celtic Festival and Highland Games, which includes volunteer check-in, information about the event, and lost & found.

Piping & Drumming

P&D volunteers steward (get pipers and bands where they are supposed to be at the right time), work with judges to collect sheets, and organize the clerical aspects of the contest.

Athletics

The Athletics team helps organize local practices, events, train judges, and run Scottish Heavy Athletics on the day of the games.

Vendors & Clans

Vendors & Clans team assists with set-up, break-down and communications with vendors and clans for the Las Vegas Celtic Festival and Highland Games.
